dear little nug, 

even more smiles, laughs and giggles from you this month.  you are such a happy baby.  how did we get so lucky?  although you have been going through some separation anxiety as well as having two bottom teeth poke though.  these made for some sad times this month, but hopefully won't last too much longer.

you continue to love your food - how could you not - your parents sure do.  we have been trying more fruits and veggies this month as well as some yogurt.  you went crazy for that yogurt - it is your new favorite.

you are sitting up for long periods of time playing with lots of toys these days.  your main mode of transportation is rolling around.  sometimes you just sit there and kick those legs like you are swimming in a pool, which makes us think that crawling is coming soon for you.  i think you just need to work on getting that adorable belly of yours off the floor :)

i could watch you all day long love bug and just smile and laugh to myself.  you continue to dominate the conversation between your dad and i with all the cute little things you do.  we love you beyond belief and just want to spend ALL our time snuggling and loving on YOU.

willa turns one!

we celebrated willa turning one year old this past weekend.  complete with lots of fun company, delish bbq and adult cocktails.  it was a lovely celebration and cannot believe willa is already a year - time is flying!

good times with omi and papa.

we have omi and papa in town visiting!  on sunday, we began at the standard for some good ole bbq and beer and then headed to the national air and space museum that is located by dulles airport.  it was a great way to beat the heat and some of those airplanes and air crafts are pretty spectacular.  it is so fun having grandparents in town!

the big 3-0!

for my 30th birthday this year, jeffrey took the day off from work so we could spend it as a family of three.  i enjoyed my favorite foods {crepe breakfast, taylor sandwiches, and a homemade steak dinner by chef jeff}.  we wondered around an art museum {the american art} and i enjoyed time with my two cuties.  i also felt very loved from the calls, texts and cards that friends and family sent my way.  so thank you for all the love, it was a wonderful way to enter my 30's!

fun times in nyc.

 after a four hour car ride, all logan wanted to do was roll around on the bed to get her wiggles out

and guess who we saw in nyc??  uncle z and aunt jenn on their baseball tour.

we met up one night for some drinks.

 got to brunch and spend time with my dear friend, kat, and meet aaron.

she was having her morning nap when we decided to take a walk and

instead of changing her, we just transfered her into the stroller.

father's day.

for jeffrey's first father's day - logan and i took him to NYC - one of his favorite cities.  we took in some sites, shopped around and met up with some friends/family.  it was wonderfully relaxed and it even got chilly as NYC experienced a little cool front while we were there. 

i always knew jeffrey would be an amazing father, but watching it come to light these past 6.5 months has been beyond amazing.  our little gal is so very lucky to have such a loving, caring, helpful, and supportive dad.  we also feel so very blessed to have such fabulous fathers in our lives - we love you pawpaw and papa!

highlights.

uncle zachary {my brother} and aunt jenn have been in town visiting with us and our little logan over the past few days.  they are on a baseball tour of famous stadiums in the northeast and decided to start their adventures in dc.  we are so happy they stopped by - quality time with their niece, nats game fun, and checking out the 'the art of video games' exhibit have been a few of the good times.  thanks for the love z and jenn!
