mags and trav fun!

our buddies, mags and trav, came in from san fran for a visit and to meet miss nora last weekend.  we had a blast hitting up fun restaurants, venturing to the livestock show/rodeo/carnival, cooking in and just being together.  we are so thankful for all the love these two show towards our girls.  our friendship with these special friends is just THE BEST! xo

aunt kata comes to town!

we have been so lucky to have the aunts and uncles come to town this past month and meet miss nora james.  first up, aunt becca and uncle chris...then uncle zachary and now aunt kata!  thank you loved ones for making the effort, we feel so loved :)

two months. 

dearest nora bear, 

two whole months have flown by and seriously it feels like even longer since we met you and you joined our little family.  you are cooing and smiling a TON these days and me, your dad and big sister cannot get enough.  we dance around all day trying to get you to smile.  your smiles bring us so much joy.  so keep them up! 

your hair is getting lighter and you have nice round rolls all over your body.  you are measuring in the 80% for weight my chunky babe :)  you got your 2 month shots yesterday and was PISSED!  like all day.  although, your sister might be more traumatized than you as she watched you get those shots.  the best news, is that you are happy and healthy!  other than some gas issues we are working on, you are one happy baby!

we love you, we love you, we love you.  we feel so very blessed and lucky that you have joined our family.  so keep doing what you are doing sweet girl.

weekend bits.

this weekend was full of grey skies, coldish weather and lots and lots of rain.  on saturday, we managed a three hour walk around our hood in between the rain and it felt lovely to get out.  a few pics from our park time.  logan requested a "new park" so we ventured to one we normally don't hit up....
