these sweet friends have become such good buddies this year at school. sadly, we are loosing two of these dear friends since their families are moving over the summer. we are so very sad and will miss these families so very much! these pics were at amelia's going away shindig at our favorite gelato spot!

logan had fun cutting these shapes (she is obsessed with scissors right now and has even been found cutting some of her beloved books!) and then gluing them down. Tried to teach her about "abstract form" but don't think she took much away from that concept :)

weekend celebrations.
this weekend we celebrated father's day and my birthday, which happen to fall on the same day this year....to break it up - we did my bday festivities on saturday and father's day festivities on sunday. it was a family fun weekend filled with some art museum time, homemade cupcakes, a visit to jeff's favorite plant store, meals of all four of us, and meals just the two of us (!), crawfish, a brewery visit and even a massage. good times indeed!

five months. {nora james}
my love bug,
you are truly such a love bug these days. flashing that big ole smile (with your dimples going strong) ALL.THE.TIME! and we just LOVE it! you are one HAPPY baby, to which we are so thankful that you are happy and healthy my love.
you are rolling over all the time right now, but continue to get pissed when you get stuck on your tummy. you tried some rice cereal a few weeks ago and seem to be very eager to eat. you are memorized by the spoon. we plan on trying some more solids here soon.
you love to be where the action is - constantly wanting someone in your line of sight. sometimes when you are fussing, your sister will go over and ask "nora bear do you need some attention?" and you just light up.
keep doing exactly what you are doing, cause we just continue to fall more in love with you each and everyday sweet girl.
