good times with omi and papa.

we have omi and papa in town visiting!  on sunday, we began at the standard for some good ole bbq and beer and then headed to the national air and space museum that is located by dulles airport.  it was a great way to beat the heat and some of those airplanes and air crafts are pretty spectacular.  it is so fun having grandparents in town!

the big 3-0!

for my 30th birthday this year, jeffrey took the day off from work so we could spend it as a family of three.  i enjoyed my favorite foods {crepe breakfast, taylor sandwiches, and a homemade steak dinner by chef jeff}.  we wondered around an art museum {the american art} and i enjoyed time with my two cuties.  i also felt very loved from the calls, texts and cards that friends and family sent my way.  so thank you for all the love, it was a wonderful way to enter my 30's!

fun times in nyc.

 after a four hour car ride, all logan wanted to do was roll around on the bed to get her wiggles out

and guess who we saw in nyc??  uncle z and aunt jenn on their baseball tour.

we met up one night for some drinks.

 got to brunch and spend time with my dear friend, kat, and meet aaron.

she was having her morning nap when we decided to take a walk and

instead of changing her, we just transfered her into the stroller.

oh well.

father's day.

for jeffrey's first father's day - logan and i took him to NYC - one of his favorite cities.  we took in some sites, shopped around and met up with some friends/family.  it was wonderfully relaxed and it even got chilly as NYC experienced a little cool front while we were there. 

i always knew jeffrey would be an amazing father, but watching it come to light these past 6.5 months has been beyond amazing.  our little gal is so very lucky to have such a loving, caring, helpful, and supportive dad.  we also feel so very blessed to have such fabulous fathers in our lives - we love you pawpaw and papa!

my dear, sweet, thoughtful, creative and talented aunt dianne sent logan some super fun summery dresses.  they are all handmade and i'm so impressed with her amazing skills.  we did a little fashion show this morning, so yall can see them too.  thanks for all the love dianne - we heart you!

highlights.

uncle zachary {my brother} and aunt jenn have been in town visiting with us and our little logan over the past few days.  they are on a baseball tour of famous stadiums in the northeast and decided to start their adventures in dc.  we are so happy they stopped by - quality time with their niece, nats game fun, and checking out the 'the art of video games' exhibit have been a few of the good times.  thanks for the love z and jenn!
