how much of a little girl - logan is looking like these days.

which is crazy - she is only 7.5 months old.

i just want to freeze time

and enjoy every moment that is happening right now.

aunt dianne and uncle ray meet logan!

we had the pleasure of introducing logs to my aunt dianne and uncle ray these past few days.  we have enjoyed the national mall, saw the white house and even dined out a few times with our little tot.  big snuggles, lots of smiles and great quality time between these three.  come visit anytime dianne and ray - thanks for the love and we sure do heart yall!

weekend bits {according to instagram}.

we were lazy this weekend.  as in not getting out of our pjs until at least noon on both mornings.  well, that might be more true for me and logan than jeffrey, but still.  we were trying to beat the heat - it was around 106 degrees around these parts and we didn't want anything to do with it.  we enjoyed dinner with friends as well as a humid happy hour on the stoop with neighbors, but other than that we were pretty housebound.  and it was glorious.

our 4th of july.

we spent our 4th relaxing in a pool, eating scrumptious crabs/ribs/green beans/watermelon and catching up with friends.  we saw a few fireworks in there too.  also, a huge shout out to my dad who celebrates his birthday on the 4th - when he was little he thought all the firework shows were for his birthday.  isn't that cute?
