8 months.

1 month.

2 months.

3 months.

4 months.

7 months.

8 months.

dear nug,

unbelievable - a whole eight months with you in our lives. the time is flying by and i wish i could freeze time or make it go in slow motion perhaps because you being 8 months is a blast!

your new thing is pulling up. pulling up on big toys, your crib, chairs, the couch, tables - just about anything you can get your hands on. and when you get up you scream {and i mean SCREAM} in delight. you are so very proud of yourself and we are so very proud of you.

you are crawling a little bit here and there as well, so you are one busy bee these days - keeping your mama and daddy very busy. especially when we try and change your diaper. you are on the move and sitting still for a few minutes during a diaper change is not your favorite activity my little wiggle worm :)

you continue to smile and giggle constantly. it makes us so very happy to see how happy you are on a daily basis. you are the light of our life and we simply cannot imagine our life without you being the center of it.

a lunch date at 2amys.

cousin kitty {actually my mom's cousin} and cousin gina {kitty's daughter; which makes her my 2nd cousin - right!?} were in town from charlottesville, va. so we met up for a lovely lunch date at 2 amy's pizzeria - one of our very favorites places. logan was so excited about them visiting she kept screaming with happiness throughout the entire meal - opps. it was wonderful to catch up with these two texans.

a day at the wineries.

for jeffrey's 30th bday celebration, he took the day off from work and we made a little day trip to visit some nearby wineries. we started at rappahannock and finished up at one of our all time favorites - hume. it was a delightful afternoon out in the country and talking about wine with the local wine makers. it is so peaceful and beautiful out in the virginia wine country - wouldn't it be amazing to have a little cabin out in the country?
