park city, utah 2012 {round one}.

hello folks!  and happy happy new year!  sorry i have been quiet over here, but we just returned from park city, utah with the ainsworth clan.  and we had an amazing time together!  the town of park city is quite charming and adorable with a main street filled with mom and pop shops.  we participated in an art gallery walk, lots of skiing and sledding fun, home cooked soups and stews, kept cozy by the fire, lots of rounds of card games, and even some outlet shopping.  jeff and i have really been missing the cold and we sure did get our fix here {one morning we woke up to 1 degree weather!}  it was even too cold to whip out our camera - so please excuse the camera phone pictures below.  we had a fabulous time and absolutely loved being all together.

merry merry!

we woke up at my parents for some stocking fun and then rolled over to the ainsworth casa for a full day of christmas fun!  we have so much to celebrate and be thankful for - it was wonderful to celebrate with family.  merry merry everyone!

christmas eve.

the festivities continued as we celebrated on christmas eve.  quality time + gifts + champagne = a lovely christmas eve with the swansons!  we also ventured over to first pres for the 5pm service with jeff's parents {complete with a live donkey and goats for the manger scene!  logs was very impressed with the animals as well as all the music!}  and finished up at the semmler's annual christmas eve shindig.  good times all around!

 

 jeff has been wanting a moose head for the house.  

i thought this one was a bit more "artsy" and would fit our 1920's bungalow a bit better :)

xmas festivities!

many christmas festivities have been occurring around these parts!  a welsh cocktail party {which i forgot to take pics - opps} and our xmas celebration with the doan family {my dad's side of the fam}.  good drinks, great food and even better company!  merry merry everyone!
