yikes!

this weekend, jeffrey and i are traveling to an out of town wedding. and logan is staying put with my sweet parents. so, this will mark the first time we are away from our precious little one. i'm super excited to get away and have a little break from constantly being "mom" and to get some nice quality time with my husband, but i'm nervous too. nervous to be away from our little logs.

before we had logan we always said how important it is for us to continue to get away - for date nights and weekend get-a-ways. and while i still strongly believe this statement - now we have met the nugget that we are leaving behind. she is a real little person that has stolen our hearts. i'm not at all worried about the care she will receive when we are gone - my parents will do a very fine job - i'm just worried about me - being away from my sweet pea. but, i know this will be good for us and good for logan as she continues to gain independence. so, we just need to DO IT. like ripping off a band aid - right!?
