dear nug, 

wow - 4 months!  while in some ways it feels like you are still so very young, but in most ways it feels like you have been in our lives forever.  for we can't really recall not having you be a part of our little family. 

we have noticed big changes in you this month, mainly your "talking."  you like to test out your vocal cords and i really wish we knew what you are trying to tell us.  you are not really enjoying lying on your back anymore, you want to be propped up and part of all the action.  however, you did roll over for the first time this week and we cheered from the sidelines!  you continue to be a snuggle bug and constantly want to be held, especially after our trip back to houston where you were held constantly for five straight days.  you liked that alot.

and yes, you traveled on your first airplane and it was a great success!  luckily, we packed many changes of clothes for our trip "just in case" and ended up using all THREE pairs of back up clothes.  but, you were a champ on the flight {thank goodness you were not "that crying baby"} and you LOVED meeting all your aunts and uncles on the ainsworth side, dear friends and the welsh crew.

you continue to amaze us sweet one.  your smile brightens our days and we just can never get enough of your huge grins even when large amounts of drool accompany them.  we love you more than words can describe and look forward to see you grow and grow, although not too fast.  we want to savor this time with you.
