in recent days, i have really been missing dc. mainly our dear dear friends there. we miss yall like CRAZY! we said our good-byes almost a month and half ago and prior to the last couple of days, it has just felt like we were gone on a really long vacation. that we would be returning shortly and would have time to catch up with each of them. i think the weather has alot to do with these feelings as well. i keep seeing pictures of friends in dc in LAYERS - long sleeves and pants, while we are still definitely in shorts down south. fall time - you will sorely be missed while we are in texas. it is just not the same.
i know we are in transition right now and it has been beyond WONDERFUL to spend lots of quality time with family and a few friends. this will take time - we knew that going in, but i just wish it would hurry up and happen already. and if our house could magically come together in about a week - that would be awesome too!

ReplyDeleteWe miss you guys like crazy too, but we're oh so excited for you to be transitioning in to this fun new life Texas! Our spare bedroom is open ANY time you want to come back, though, and we'll surely be visiting sooner rather than later, since we're in desperate need of an Ainsworth fix :)
