12 months! {a tad late}

 one month.

 two months.

 three months.

 four months.

 five months.

 six months.

 seven months.

 eight months.

 nine months.

ten months.

 eleven months.

 twelve months.

my dearest logan maeve, 

one whole year with you in our lives.  as my dear friend megan would say "my mind is blown." and it is - this year has FLOWN by with all your many milestones.  and your father and i have celebrated every little one of those milestones.  getting prouder and prouder of you with each and every one.  

i had the hardest time deciding between these two "twelve month" pictures because both of them show your little personality.  you continue to be ALL smiles ALL the time.  you are actually becoming quite a little ham with people and strangers while you smile, giggle and wave to them in public.  but the other image of you standing up describes you well too because you are on the MOVE girl.  busting out great dance moves and wanting to explore every little thing.  

after your small birthday celebration, you decided it was time to take a few steps.  you like to take about 2 - 4 steps and then pop down and crawl to your destination.  sadly, you were sick on your real birthday and didn't want anything to do with your cake.  but hey, we will try again next year!

you are very trusting my sweet girl.  your new favorite game is to dive in different directions on the sofa.  and trust that a loved one will catch you if you decide to dive off the sofa.  you continue to LOVE to be thrown up in the air by your daddy {to which i look the other way}.  and up on daddy's shoulders is one of your favorite places.  all these activities bring big ole smiles and lots of giggles to your sweet face. 

you are hugging up a storm these days.  BIG GREAT hugs around our necks and they are simply the BEST.  you could ask for anything in the world after you give us a hug and we would go out and get it for you.  your hugs are that good.  so keep them up pretty please :)

our lives have so much JOY because you are in it and are a part of our little family.  our love for you grows with each passing second - i can't even image what a lifetime of love will feel like.  but, i'm so excited to find out.  we love you beyond belief sweetie.
