easter 2014.

well, hello folks!  i hope everyone had a lovely easter celebration last sunday, that is if you celebrate the holiday.  we had a LOVELY day filled with family, candy, eggs, sunshine, thankfulness and love.  we started off the day with logs diving into her easter basket.  we then scurried to church with jeff's parents and dined with family at lucilles for brunchy bunch.  delicious soul food if you haven't dined there before.  we then headed to my parents casa {aka the pink house}.  it was a very sentimental celebration at the pink house because it was our very last easter there.  my parents have sold the house that my brother and i grew up in and are moving on to a new venture!  it was wonderfully bittersweet as we said goodbye to the pink house.  the welsh clan was in full swing {the schmoes drove in from wimberly} and we had egg hunts, pinata fun, corn hole, delicious food and lots and lots of merriment.

we made the mistake of bringing "bunny" inside the house the week before easter and soon after logan and the bunny became quite the buddies.  logs was feeding the bunny, hugging him, etc.  so easter rolls around and i realize - yikes - logs might freak if people are beating down bunny.  after lots of chats about how it is ok to hit bunny the pinata and only bunny the pinata we emerged without a traumatic event - whew!
