logan is really starting to warm up to nora, which of course is pretty amazing to watch and witness. not only is she always wanting to hug and kiss on nora; but, she is also really enjoying "helping" and being present when we do things like change a diaper or give nora a bottle. logan does complain about nora's cries "being too loud for her ears," but i have also caught her saying "it's okay baby it's okay" too...in which my heart bursts into about a million little pieces. we are having to watch logan to make sure she doesn't smoother nora with her hugs, but all in all we are thrilled logan has taken such an interest in her baby sister. hopefully, it will continue and their relationship will grow and grow! fingers crossed!!

the new hermann park!

we are taking full advantage of the AMAZING weather here in htown right now (that is before logs got a fever and we found out the flu was going around her school, which caused us to hunker down and keep the girls separated the entire weekend - fun times! - but all is well now - fingers crossed!) we were able to squeeze in a fun trip to the new hermann park in the museum district and man this place is FABULOUS! so modern, so well done, so beautiful - we will be going back very soon; especially because logan keeps talking about that "waterfall."

our first family walk.

i'm finally starting to feel better these last few days after the recovery from my c-section. luckily, the weather has been fantastic (after many many days of not so fantastic weather) - so we have been going on walks, having playtime at parks, going out to breakfast and lunch....we are just LOVING all this family time as a family of FOUR!

some newborn pics.

well, we had not planned on doing any newborn pictures with miss nora james. but, i have to say, our hospital - texas children's pavilion for women - made it so super easy. a photographer comes to your room to set up a photo session. you don't have to do a thing and don't even have to pay for the session. and then, if you like the pictures they take - you can choose to buy them. so we said, sure we will try it and see if they get any good ones of nora. well, of course we loved the photos they took. someone was very smart over at texas children's for setting up this service. very smart indeed....i mean who is not going to want pictures of their newborn when they make it so very EASY. here are a few of our favorites (without our very favorite as we are saving that one for a little birth announcement :)
