the girls go out and play!

my dear dear friend, kat, came to visit me this weekend in dc.

jeffrey was in nashville for a bachelor party,

so it was a perfect time for kat and i to have some girlie time.

and our girlie time was fabulous.

we did a lot of eating, shopping, talking, talking and even more talking.  it was so lovely to truly catch up with my friend.  kat is an AMAZING singer and songwriter and she is working her tail off these days in nyc.  so to get a whole weekend of her to myself was wonderful.  you must check out her LOVELY voice and songs: here.
