texas bbq in dc.

last night, we ventured to a new restaurant in the area - hill country barbecue - to dine on some good ole texas bbq outside the great state of texas.  we enjoyed ourselves with friends, julie and andrew, as we chowed down on some brisket, sausage, ribs, potato salad, co slaw, dr. pepper, shiner beer and of course some lovely blue bell ice cream for dessert.  hill country barbecue proved to be closest thing to texas bbq in these parts.  the dr. pepper and blue bell ice cream made me the most happy.  the texas country playing in the background - didn't hurt either.
